Challenge
We needed to produce a series of Connected TV (CTV) commercials and build an internal marketing library. The project required coordinating a tight on-site shoot with multiple teams and securing fast internal approvals to meet our end-of-quarter deadline.
Approach
I handled the pre-production planning, storyboarding, and on-site coordination.
AI-Assisted Pre-Production: Took reference photos during a technical site visit and used Magnific Spaces to recreate the factory environment. This allowed me to build storyboards that accurately simulated camera lenses and exact shooting angles, locking in the macro-edit structure before filming started.
On-Site Production: Coordinated the logistics for two production teams working simultaneously on location. Using detailed call sheets, we ensured both teams captured the exact footage needed.
Asset Gathering: Managed the collection of over 400GB of raw photos and videos, creating a reusable library for the marketing team's future campaigns.
Post-Production: Because the pre-production layout was highly precise, the main commercial (CTV A) was approved quickly. This gave us the time needed to adjust details on the remaining assets (CTV B) without rushing.
Result
We finalized the campaign on schedule before the end of the quarter and built a massive library of reusable marketing assets. Recreating the actual location via AI during pre-production removed the guesswork from the live shoot, which streamlined the editing phase and allowed the main assets to clear internal approvals rapidly.
