UG2 Launch - US Focused Video

Challenge
We had to deliver a high-stakes global launch video for our newest and most powerful sensor, the Smart Trac UG2, across the US, Mexico, and Brazil. The project had a very tight timeline and required coordination with the product team to display real software screens on set (avoiding green screens) and the copywriting team for final scripts.
Approach
I co-led the project, taking charge of the technical and visual direction while acting as the main bridge with our partner video production company on set.
Pre-Production & Visual Direction: Managed the preparation of all art elements on set and defined the overall aesthetic and cinematography.
On-Set Direction: Supervised the 2-day shoot directing three different versions of the video, each hosted by a different company CEO for their specific market.
AI CGI Workaround: We needed a complex transition shot where the sensor leaves the CEO's hand and turns into a 3D animation. Doing this manually was estimated at 30 days by our 3D artist. To save time, I developed an AI prompt setup that replicated this exact CGI transition consistently across all three videos.
Editing & Pacing: Edited the US version first to lock in the pacing, music, and motion graphics style, which served as the template for the Mexico and Brazil versions.
Color Grading: Fixed a major color matching issue across all three videos, correcting the heavy lighting variations caused by shooting in different environments over the two days.
Result
The entire global campaign was delivered strictly on schedule and received fast approval from company leaders and the CEOs. The AI workaround successfully eliminated a 30-day production bottleneck, ensuring we hit our global launch date with a high-quality visual transition across all three regional markets.
