The Frontline Pulse: a CTV campaign planned on an AI-recreated factory
Connected TV commercials and an internal marketing library, shot by two production teams at once and finished before the end of the quarter.
01Context
Tractian needed Connected TV (CTV) commercials for the US and a library of footage for future campaigns. The shoot was tight, with several teams on location, and internal approvals had to be fast to hit the end-of-quarter deadline.
02Audience and goal
Two narratives for two buyers: economic buyers and technical operators. The goal was a campaign built around those two personas, plus a library the marketing team could keep using in North American paid media.
03Approach
- AI-assisted pre-production
- On a technical site visit I took reference photos and used Magnific Spaces to recreate the factory. That let me build storyboards that simulated the real lenses and shooting angles, and lock the structure of the edit before filming started.
- Shot in Brazil, built to look American
- The campaign was made for US audiences but shot in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. The team rebuilt many of the signs and set details to look as American as possible, with input from Tractian colleagues based in the US.
- Two crews, one plan
- I coordinated the logistics for two production teams working on location at the same time. Detailed call sheets made sure both captured exactly the footage the edit needed.
- A reusable library
- I managed the collection of more than 400GB of raw photos and video, which became a library for the marketing team's future campaigns.
- Post-production
- The pre-production layout was precise, so the main commercial (CTV A) was approved quickly. That left time to adjust the remaining assets (CTV B) without rushing.
04Result
The campaign was finished on schedule, before the end of the quarter, together with a large library of reusable assets. It recently ran as advertising on Fox News.
Recreating the real location with AI during pre-production took the guesswork out of the shoot and let the main assets clear internal approvals quickly.
